St. Croix wine 2014

So we finished the St. Croix wine and bottled it up.
Most of our wines are wines that are to be consumed young, we don't store then very long - perhaps two years. The style we make them in reflects this and that we grow cold climate varieties that usually don't produce big wines especially in the reds. The first red bottled from Arrow lakes Vineyard in 2014 is the ST. Croix and is really a blend of St. Croix grapes grown in Edmonton and Arrow Lakes Vineyard.

St. Croix has produced many award winning wines and shows versatility of a great wine grape.  This style presents fruity aroma and flavours of cherry and raspberry with tobacco hints and mild astringency with some  acidity balanced with the residual sugar.
